The Lake View Pavillion is one of the most enchanting settings, hosting up to 300 guests for a lavish wedding ceremony and reception. However, the 18th-century banquet room can hold up to 90 guests for a more intimate gathering. Additionally, the Lodge House accommodation can hold up to 125, providing all the comfortable luxuries of a modern hotel.

Perfectly appointed, Virginia Park Lodge boasts a diverse array of reception spaces, each beautifully designed to accommodate the unique vision of every couple. For a grand celebration, the Marchioness Banqueting Room provides the perfect setting. With its soaring ceiling, arched windows, and elegant décor, this grand ballroom can accommodate up to 90 guests. For a gathering under blue skies, the Lakeview Pavilion offers a secluded retreat overlooking the serene waters of Lough Ramor. This spacious pavilion, with its panoramic views and elegant décor, can accommodate up to 300 guests. As for your accommodation, you and your guests will be in the Main House. The Main House has 23 en-suite bedrooms with a capacity for up to 50 guests. As well as Bective Court, a beautifully restored courtyard which has 15 gorgeous cottages which can sleep 2-6 guests. If that still doesn’t satisfy your guest list, we also have the charming Shepheard’s huts that can sleep two adults.

Expect grand choices such as fresh Steamed Asparagus, delightful Iberico Ham, Glazed Suckling Pig and freshly caught Crab for delightful starter choices. Then for middle and main courses, Hothouse Tomato Soup, Garden Pea Soup, Baked Seabass and a truly exceptional Farmhouse Duck are on the menu. Desserts range from sweet to rich and decadent with Champagne Jelly, Rhubarb and custard Tart and delightful shortbreads. This menu is a seasonal sample menu and is subject to change.

Cavan, A82 T2N6. Virginia Park Lodge is easily accessible by car, with ample parking available for guests and wedding vendors. The lodge is located just off the N3 national road, approximately 15 minutes from the town of Cavan. 

For those travelling from Dublin, the journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes by car. From Belfast, the journey takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes by car.
The lodge is also well-served by public transport. Bus Eireann operates regular services from Dublin and Belfast to Cavan Town, from where guests can take taxis or hire cars for the short journey to Virginia Park Lodge.
